About Dave Meredith, Professional Massage Therapist
In all of his time as a massage therapist, 99% of Dave’s clients have been referred by other clients.
Dave has conducted a certified professional Massage practice since 1994, but had been informally employing Eastern style Massage techniques as a compliment to his Martial Arts training and teaching since 1987.
Dave works with a wide verity of clientele which include top athletes from the NY Giants football team, Setan Hall Pirates basketball teams, NJ Red Bulls soccer Team and more. Dave's range of clients extend to include business people, homemakers, contractors, and survivors of trauma & serious illness. Dave's corporate clients include Quest Diagnostics, Allstate Insurance, Whole Foods Market, and many more. Dave's clients also include public & medical organizations such as, the 200 Club of Bergen County, the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, Saint Vincent's Hospitals, Bon Secore Hospitals, Robert Wood Johnson & U.M.D.N.J., Bayone Medical Center, as well as NJ and some municipal health departments.
In fact, Dave has been teaching and studying the Eastern healing arts for over 24 years. Formerly director of the North Jersey Massage Training Center and currently at American Eastern Wellness Center, Dave dedicates his time between teaching, administration, and Massage therapy. Dave's style is a synthesis of Complementary therapies including Neuromuscular, Myofacial, and other Deep Tissue Therapies, in addition to Swedish Massage, Acupressure / Shiatsu, and Clinical Bodywork and Coaching for survivors of trauma and life threatening illness.
Meditation, Breathwork, Guided Imagery, Qi-Gong, Tai-Chi, Yoga, Hiking, and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching also play a vital role in Dave’s practice; and are often requested by clients who would like to create a better quality of life.
Dave is available for on site massage in Northern New Jersey, including BergenCounty, Hudson County, Essex County, Passaic County, Morris County, and the Meadowlands.
Dave has been working in this area for over a decade, and has had many clients in area towns such as Rutherford, Hasbrouck Heights, Hackensack, Ridgewood, Allendale, Oakland, Park Ridge, Upper Saddle River, Alpine, WashingtonTownship, Englewood Cliffs, Fort Lee, Edgewater, Hoboken, Nutley, Montclair and GlenRidge.
